Best gym ive found in michigan by far mostly all free weight no planet fitness bs open all week and the staff is amazing
I’ve been working out here for about 3 years. It consistently gets worse and worse. From broken equipment to moldy showers this gym offers it all! The owner (Kevin) typically doesn’t say hi or even take a second to acknowledge you unless your woman that’s 20-30 years younger than him. It’s extremely dirty and the walls are covered in trump flags and old dirty pictures from magazines. Power House Fenton is without question the best weight lifting and bodybuilding gym in Genesee County. Kevin and his staff are knowledgeable and actually care about their members by providing a positive atmosphere for growth and development for all ages and abilities. I have been a member for several years and travel 20 miles to and from PHF for my workouts. It is well worth the drive to be part of a gym community that is like a second family. Thank you Kevin for providing your members with an excellent gym.
Edited: I noticed a sudden influx of 5-star reviews after months of none, almost like an attempt to bury the recent 1-star feedback. I’ve been a member here for about three years, and the condition of this gym has steadily declined. At this point, it raises serious concerns about cleanliness, safety, and overall management. The facility is consistently dirty, with visible buildup of grime on equipment and surfaces, and I have never observed routine cleaning taking place. Kevin and Dwayne are studs. This place is legit. Atmosphere is perfect. I travel the United States for work and have been to dozens of gyms. This is by far the most OG place to go. There was a recent review left by Dave with 1 star. He obviously has no idea what he’s doing at the gym. Wish this place was in my home town.
