Wasn't rushed and very comprehensive. Answered all my questions.
I came in for an extraction about a month ago. The experience was great! The assistant was so sweet, and made sure to distract me and talk about dogs :). Dr. Felton completely understood that I was nervous, due to a previously awful experience at another office. He made sure I was not in pain, and we made sure to keep talking about dogs. Very friendly staff. Dental hygienist and dentist were very helpful and knowledgeable. I love the professionalism of this staff.
I avoid the Dentist at all costs, however, I have been in excruciating pain for 3 days and knew my normal “it will pass” method wasn’t going to work this time. I googled “Dentist that takes emergencies” and had an appointment in 1.5 hours. Every single person I encountered, from the front desk, dental assistant ( she is a gem!), to the Dentist himself! From a big ole scaredy cat, I highly recommend Felton and Associates of Chester.
I’ve been a patient here for 23 years, but unfortunately the quality of care has declined significantly in recent years. The newer hygienists feel rushed, aren’t gentle, and lack professionalism. I’ve also had multiple issues at the front desk with my insurance not being applied correctly—twice I was even told to call my insurance myself with dental codes to fix billing errors. It’s very disappointing after being a loyal patient for over two decades. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
