Dr Lacksen is caring, knowledgeable, attentive, personable, and easy to relate to. I feel valued as a patient and a person. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a physician in the Athens area.
I have been going to Dr. Lacksen for the past 20+ years. While I appreciate being heard and taken seriously, I also appreciate a level head and empathetic listener. Recently, I messaged Dr. Lacksen with an issue through MyChart, and she immediately got me in for an appointment. Once I arrived, she quickly assessed my situation and sent me to the ER. This, after the specialist treating me suggested I wait and see until the end of the week…
Dr Lacksen is always very attentive, good listener. Yesterday She listened to my “issue,” looked at the issue and was able to make suggestions as what might have caused it. She was able to share what it wasn’t and why. She is very knowledgeable and although I don’t see her very often (thank goodness was!) she is always very helpful.
