Zero stars should be a thing. I thought he was going to be great and then I paid my retainer. Big mistake. I never heard from him except all but once after they had my money, even after multiple phone calls and emails. I never got anything returned. Thankfully I was able to get my money back after filing a dispute with my credit car me company due to paying for goods and services I never got.

Stay away from this lawyer. He will lie to you in your face. He will not defend you. He is already in line with the opposition.
Scot was retained to represent my son in a horrific experience. He was helpful and then it all went downhill. He is refusing to return our phone calls, we have gotten no invoice for any of the monies given to him, certified mail was sent and returned. This is not a good experience. I am contacting the Bar Association.
Scot seemed so nice and on your side until it was ready to actually do the work. He wouldn’t return emails, file papers on time with the court, and his one secretary was SO rude and purposely would not do things out of spite. I would have to call and call for weeks to get answers and to do the things needed. Very lazy very unmindful. Thankfully my story ended with a termination of rights (voluntarily from father) and adoption. However that was the hardest part of all because his secretary would not do her job!!
