1/5 Stars – Horrible Service, Zero Coverage, Complete Scammery Do not waste your hard-earned money on Fedhealth / Unity Health. I paid every single month for their plan, including extra for gap cover that is supposed to protect you when you need it most. When it actually came time to cover medical expenses, they completely refused to pay. They left me stranded with hospital fees and specialist fees, refusing to reimburse a single cent of what was promised and then hide behind under the fine print of the policy.(They scam you... read more
Fedhealth is the worst. Horrible experience. Even if you follow all their procedures, they will find a way not to settle a claim.
Unfortunately there is no option for negative stars. Worst medical aid. Stay away.
Is anyone aware that Fedhealth has completely screwed everyone in their membership by increasing the self payment gap by 40%. Also, where nominated GP and dental Visits where covered in full after the SPG, you now have to pay in R125 for each visit. So if a family of five get flu, and it rolls around between them, you for an extra R600 to R1300 just in doctors visits!
