I sent a gift package to Mexico which contained a watch made of plastic. Since sending the package, the FEDEX agent told me cost total including fees approximately was to be $200 dollars. Before releasing it, I was asked to add my credit card on the FEDEX account so I would get charged; big mistake. After customs and duty tax charges, I ended up paying more than $500 with the delivery. It cost me double the shipment than the watch. A total disaster. My package requires signature. And I live alone. And I need to go to work on Thursday. And it’s delivered on Thursday and here is nothing I can do about it. Now I have to go 14 km to pick up my package and go another 14km to go back home. What’s worse? I cannot even change the location to pickup. I am done with fedex.
These guys are absolutely the worst in business. I sold a floor standing speakers online and wanted to ship them to Ottawa first I called them and they told me if you are a new customer and create a new account. You would get 50% off for six months. I went online and took me about 15 minutes to create a new account from their complicated website. I loaded the speakers which they were about 80 pounds each head to their nearest drop off location and then they told me they 50% discount does not apply within Ontario. What a croo... read more
