Fedex in Huntington is terrible. They refuse to deliver to my apartment complex because it requires a key to get in. UPS, USPS and Fedex were all given a key but only Fedex has a problem with it. I ordered from amazon and paid for overnight delivery and Fedex just says "delivery was attempted. business closed". When I call they admit that an attempt was never made because my address is listed as closed on weekends even though it is an apartment. There is no local number to call to straighten this out.
Fedex was to deliver a package to Navys Garage. DRIVER said Navys was closed.picked up my Medicine,@ the Airport Yesterday. TODAY GET a door tag. 2nd attempt. BUT IT WAS LEFT ON THE BACK DOOR of 113 Bridge St Navy's Garage is 109... Painted on side of building.
I am very displeased with the Huntington, WV depot. Do not put a package on the truck and mark it to be delivered and then decide that you do not want to deliver it the same day. It is your job to deliver packages, not decide who will get what, and where and when they do. Be available, for customers that do their jobs, to pick up the packages that you decide not to deliver!
FedEx has got to be the worst shipper I have ever had to deal with. I ordered an item from Nebraska that shipped on 20 June 2012. The package was 20 miles from my house today 23 June 2012. We drove to the FedEx ground location to see if we could pick it up. Turns out there was no there or we were ignored by someone inside. The tracking says the item is to be delivered on 27 June 2012.
