FedEx Service on Decline Unless the shipment is priority overnight, save $$ get much better service with Priority Mail! An 'Express Saver' was held at local FedEx office for three days because it arrived 'too early.' The distance from the shipper to the delivery point was less than 70 miles, so FedEx decided to keep the package for almost a calendar week because it wasn't overnight.
Still chasing delivery customer service non existent. Totally rubbish in every respect.
I truly do not understand how FedEx can stay in business with such horrible business practices. Second day of awaiting a package they said they attempted to deliver yesterday. No note or call...just put on the website that I wasn't home or business was closed. No direct phone number to contact facility for pick up.
Local FEDEX is almost impossible to contact by phone. Only number is to some national switchboard computerized filter! I'm steamed and will consider receiving and sending only by USPS or UPS.
