FedEx pre-Covid is a thing of the past. I noticed the behavior during the peak of COVID and somewhat dismissed it due to global circumstances. But, the behavior continues with FedEx specifically and the North Salt Lake sorting location. Every package that happens to come via FedEx, magically hits this location and is “delayed” for no apparent reason. Even packages I paid extra for 1-2 day delivery seem to fall into the same trap. The delivery driver left my package closer to the road than my door. Anyone could have taken it. This is the first time it's happen. All it was was a lazy delivery person and it pissed me off. It was delivered around 1:30 this afternoon and I didn't get off work until 7:30. I'm highly surprised it wasn't stolen. Do better!
Absolutely terrible. Our first order was damaged severely by FedEx from shipping. The replacement has now been delayed without reason and no updates. It's been over a month attempting to get a package that we paid over $2,000 for and FedEx has messed it up every step along the way. We stayed home to make sure we inspected it when it arrived, only to be disappointed again and again by it not arriving. They can't seem to competently deliver my packages. They always leave them in my garage. I live in a second story walk up and the standard for several of the companies I order from is delivery to my door. I have explicit delivery instructions to leave packages AT MY DOOR. I have called the customer service line several times complaining. I know Chewy has also complained on my behalf. Clearly FedEx doesn't care.
