FedEx requires signatures for packages, yet also allows customers to update their delivery preferences online. I have explicitly updated my profile to allow packages to be left at my door because I am not home much due to a very busy work and personal schedule. Despite this, FedEx repeatedly ignores that setting and continues leaving “attempted delivery” notes instead. This has happened multiple times. FedEx experience. This is hands down the WORST and most FRUSTRATING experience I have ever had with a company. FedEx and specifically their customer service system is atrocious & deplorable!! A company I am working with scheduled a pick-up, the time window for pick-up came and went, I called the customer service using two different phones a total of 7 times. They'll give you a delivery window for a shipment requiring a signature then show up way earlier or later. These clowns have no respect for those who take time off work to be home within the stated delivery window. Best part is their customer service is outsourced so all you get is the runaround in broken English from increasingly unhelpful reps.
FedEx has ruined so many deliveries for me. Keeping Christmas presents longer than stated and refusing pick up even after the promise date. Shattering packages because they have to THROW them to deliver them apparently. Nothing is ever done about it and there’s a complete lack of accountability. If I had a choice, I would never use FedEx ever again. Every single experience has been a negative one. Literally years and years of bad service.
