This casino is trying to make a profit before they open by charging applicants $100 just to apply. I was charged 100 for "processing fee" even though they made me track down all the paperwork for them. And then they disqualified me for having 2 misdemeanor DUI's many years ago, I am not on probation and 1 was 7 years ago and the other 4. Pretty much if you have ever been arrested do not apply to this casino, they will take your money for no reason. I understand peoples concerns. If I lived in the area I would be worried more about traffic then I would about crime or everything else the previous reviewer mentioned. From my experience those fears are not based on fact or reality. Many of these Casino's are run very well. They don't want their patrons to feel unsafe, that would not be good for business for them. This group seeks to build an enormous casino in our lovely little town of Rohnert Park. They don't care that it will bring with it nasty consequences such as prostitution, theft, drug trafficking, loan sharking, illegal gambling, and increased domestic violence, child neglect, divorce and suicide. Too bad they can't be run out of town.
