Worst security system and customer service. I had my service for a few years and was thinking about selling the home. Federal Alarms called me and said I needed to update my system because the old one was not going to work with their system updates. I told them that I was going to move and really didn't want the new system or sign a new contract. They assured me that when I move, because I had to update that my contract would be up. Beware of this businesses preditory contract extensions. My panel malfunctioned. It is a 10 year old panel. I called for service. Two days later at 5:30 pm a technician came and told me I needed a LTE cellular upgrade that would cost $150. They came back the next night at 9:30 pm and installed the chip. They asked me to sign for the service. This did not fix the malfunction. I had to call alarm.com to fix the problem. Unknown to me the service receipt I signed was a 5 year contract extension.
