The Federal’s Cuban deserves to be more than just a Cuban. It’s phenomenal. Add the salad with the cilantro vinaigrette and you’ve got a 5 Star meal.

Okay so, me and my buddy went to this bar like early June when I had JUST moved into my place like a mile down the road. Thought it was cool they were open late and served food late. (Food was pretty good.) Went in really late that night (‘round 1, it was a Friday so they were open another hour) and got abysmal service once. The Federal had been our go to place for years, but sadly the food has gone downhill to the point where we’ll probably not go back. Update: we thought we’d give the Federal another try - bad decision. Food was shockingly bad. They literally forgot to put meat on the doner kabob we ordered. Clearly whoever gave them the 88 health department rating was being kind. Will never go back unless we hear of a change in management.

I feel awful I don’t remember the bartenders name. He was awesome! The food was incredible, atmosphere awesome, and the price was even better. Again, I’m sorry for not remembering the bartenders name, but that dude made the atmosphere in that place freaking awesome. Thank you man! You made my trip from the far north fun!!
