Beware! BEWARE! Bait and switch pricing!! I emailed last night for some pricing, since no prices are listed on their website. I was given prices for 3 different birds. So, I drove 1.5 hours today down to the store to meet the birds with a plan to bring one home. Upon getting to the store, none of the cages had labels or pricing and I saw a few other birds I wanted to inquire about, too, as well as the one's I had emailed about. LIAR Very filthy place with too many birds and no cleanliness. Owner do not seem to care at all, neither about the birds not about the customers. The lady at this pet store lied to me. I was looking for a parrot which they had agreed to sell me on certain price but then later next day they called and said the bird was sold but instead they had the same parrot listed $500 above the price they agreed upon. Would never go their again or do business with them
Give 'em a break! If you are looking for the widest variety of parrot pets, this is the ONLY place in hundreds of miles that can meet your expectations. There hundreds of birds in this location; parrots are messy by nature and it would take a full-time team to keep it spotless. There is also lots of supplies for sale. The store needs to find a better way to organize their layout in order for people to see all that is there and for a greater ease in keeping the place looking more appealing to the buyer. hey have many birds in a ware house. Bird are love. I find some of the coments very wrong. FIRST OF ALL STAFF IS VERY NICE. I have three birds from them .all healthy. They do love their birds. Birds are fed and water is clean but bird do make a mess. It is hard to keep thing super clean when you have a lot of birds. AS Far as no toys they do have some. Featherheads is FILTHY ! How SAD ! Featherheads is FILTHY AND OVERCROWDED. The poor Birds -no toys, dirty water, one bird actually had bird poop all over him ! I wanted to buy all the birds just to get them out of there. The birds did not look healthy or happy ! THE ONE GOOD THING IS THEY HAVE LOTS OF TOYS- BUT everything is filthy ! Who wants to buy a dirty toy for their Bird.
The worst store in northern VA Went there and I couldn't even breath because of the bird dust. The place is really run down and the staff look dead. Tried to buy a bird and they tried to force me to buy some bird pellets that the bird doesn't even eat because I saw the food they were feeding him and it wasn't pellets so if I didn't buy the pellets I couldn't take the bird home. Never Going There Again Staff is rude to say the least. You need to wear a mask when you go into the store because the odor is so offensive. The cages are filthy - no toys - no rungs for the majority of the birds - water is filthy - some of the cages there was no food at all in there for the birds. I truly believe they are in way over their heads and need to be forced to clean this store - clean the cages - give the birds the necessary things like water, food, rungs.I wanted to buy 1 or 2 just to get them out of that horribl... read more
