It's just a sweet place run by wonderful volunteers caring for beautiful birds that have been in desperate need of rescue. It's non-profit and runs entirely on donations...We really enjoyed our visit there today and appreciate the work these folks do!
The birds are wonderful and smart.
This is an awesome experience. What these folks do for their birds is truly amazing and. Mr. Larry took us on a tour and his knowledge of the birds is top notch. We look forward to our next visit.
My husband & I visited the sanctuary yesterday & fell in love. These gorgeous birds are so well cared for & you can tell the people who care for them are dedicated to them & truly care for these beautiful creatures. Not only did they make us feel right at home, they also had golf carts accessible for our tour since I'm on crutches for 6 weeks. Feathered Friends Forever is truly a hidden gem. I see many hours of volunteering in our future!
This place is amazing! The cages inside have A/C and the amount of attention and love from the volunteers and workers there are amazing! I know I'll use them for my Cape if I ever need them for boarding with what I saw today :). I can not say enough wonderful things about this rescue!
These folks do a great service to the birds abandoned by those who stop breeding, are abused or are no longer wanted by a person who didn't do their homework about the care and attention a wild bird needs if kept as a pet. Their constant striving to make the environment more natural for the birds, the water system, the honey bee project and so much more are to be commended! A great place to visit for the whole family. Remember they operate wholly on your donations!
Enjoyed our time today. Can't wait to go back for volunteer work.
