The rooms are unique, fun stocked, and the staff is lovely. There's a pool and the surroundings are divine. Even though it's the dead of summer, there's a lot of shade and the rooms have functioning AC, and fresh cold water is always available.

We had a large family reunion/vacation at the Featherbed Railroad Bed and Breakfast in June and it was AMAZING!! One of the most relaxing vacations I’ve had! Ali is a wonderful host/owner. She is very friendly and makes sure you are happy and enjoying your stay. All of the employees were very kind, friendly and willing to help! The grounds are very pretty and well cared for with lots of green grass to lounge on and read a book as well as an area for outdoor games! What a fun place! We are not into railroads, but if you are then this place is a must. We stayed in Murder on the Orient Express. We enjoyed the hot tub after our drive. In the morning before breakfast, we sat up in the cupola and read with the gorgeous view of the lake. We watched the many birds on the lake, the shore, and the dock. Such a wonderful place to stay. Each caboose is uniquely decorated according to its theme. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful! Owners were incredibly sweet and made checkin seemless on a holiday weekend. Access to the private dock was such a nice touch! We already want to go back for a longer stay!

This place is so beautiful and peaceful. Staying in a caboose alone is worth it, wil all the different themes, you can come here multiple times and have a different experience each visit. The breakfast is delicious. And to swing on the swing with the view of yge late is amazing. Even if you don't swing, seeing the lake from the patio chairs is so cool. We will definitely come back and tell everyone about it. This visit we stayed in the Wine Country Caboose.
