I had a referral sent by my gp on monday 8th dec ,See Dr Fariba on wednesday 10th dec ,by friday 12th dec I was in having procedure done at Ashford hospital ,All in the same week ,Went back today for my 6 week post op appointment ... I was not happy with my experience with Dr Fariba. She didn’t explain things in a way that helped me understand. I went to see her to discuss some issues I’ve been experiencing, but the main thing she focused on was telling me I should consider having a baby soon so I “don’t miss the boat.” I had just turned 30 at the time and was not even sure if I wanted children. I was extremely excited to see Dr Fariba to help me with my pain, I went in wanting a Hysterectomy and she said that we would do it her way for 12 months and if that didn’t work she would do the Hysterectomy. I told her my previous experience with the Mirena (Dislodging and perforating my uterus wall) but she insisted that because it was put in by a male that that wouldn't happen with her. I had my initial consultation with Dr Fariba Behnia-Willison this morning, she had been recommended to me by a friend who was experiencing similar symptoms. I have not had the best experiences with gynaecologists in the past, so I was a bit apprehensive about seeing another specialist. However, Dr Fariba was very warm and welcoming, and I felt like she really listened to my concerns. This is the best gynaecology clinic I've visited. Tbh their charges are a lot cheaper than most and I've never felt dismissed or unimportant by everyone here. Dr. Tran is my surgeon and has operated on me twice, the third will be the final (hopefully) she's incredible. Please go here e
