I was diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosis some years ago after being originally misdiagnosed as thrush for some years. A biopsy confirmed the diagnosis and was told by my doctor that the only treatment was steroid cream. I have been a client for a few years. Today I was called up by a very rude receptionist from FBW to confirm my appointment for tomorrow. The receptionist claims I received a text message reminder Friday last week, and asked if I could confirm my appointment. I confirmed my appointment over the phone with her, but I was then told by the receptionist I will need a new referral before coming tomorrow. I had a referral sent by my gp on monday 8th dec ,See Dr Fariba on wednesday 10th dec ,by friday 12th dec I was in having procedure done at Ashford hospital ,All in the same week ,Went back today for my 6 week post op appointment ... I was not happy with my experience with Dr Fariba. She didn’t explain things in a way that helped me understand. I went to see her to discuss some issues I’ve been experiencing, but the main thing she focused on was telling me I should consider having a baby soon so I “don’t miss the boat.” I had just turned 30 at the time and was not even sure if I wanted children.
