Dr. Schaefer and his team are always very professional and thorough. I know sometimes we have to wait a little longer than normal, but some patients may have more issues than other ones. The wait is well worth it! I know that I'm in very good hands at this clinic and would refer my friends and relatives!
They are always very professional and look out for my best interest.
Wait times here are absolute trash, I bring my elderly mother here pretty regularly as this is one of the few places that accepts all her medical coverage and the time we spend waiting in undoubtedly ridiculous, we arrive 15 to 20 minutes early and wait hours to be seen, here is an example, her appointment was for 1130am this morning and we arrived at 1113am, it is now 130pm and I am still sitting here waiting for her to be seen. Warning to anyone who goes to this practice. We have been super disappointed. My daughter broke her arm so after her ER visit we needed to get in with an orthopedic for a cast. Called this location of CHOA and they stated they took our insurance. After 3 visits and 3 times them not mentioning anything until I received our first bill and I saw no insurance adjustments - they then told me that some of their reps dont know which UHC plans they aren't in network with. Other reviews stating that the appt wait times are extraordinarily long are CORRECT!! We've waited up to 3 hours for my child to actually be seen by the Orthopedic. Additionally, our orthopedic decided at our last appt that he "didn't know what else to tell us" and he had "no ideas, contacts, suggestions for continued healing." We had to find a good sports PT, on our own, to help our child continue to heal. We also had to seek and find a trainer to work with our child in balance, strength and weight bearing ability.
