Called after hours via emergency line for advice on possible partial bowel obstruction. Doctor called me back and was giggling during his discussion with me. The lack of concern or professionalism in our conversation was astounding. I’m in severe pain trying to maintain my composure on the phone call and relay information as efficiently as possible, and his response was incredibly dismissive, disrespectful, and disappointing. Immediately after a bad experience with Dr. Chung, a gastro with same company as Dr. Bruegge, I had an apt. here. I was having major colon issues. (Tortuous redundant colon) Immediately upon hearing my complaint, Dr. Bruegge told me that he would never have told me of this diagnosis! The apt. then went South!! --- Of course I need to know this diagnosis! Critical things are possible with it, many being experienced by me. It's taken more than one concerned dr. to help me. I have been a patient of his for over 16 years. He has always been very concerned about my medical condition and is a top-notch gastroenterologist. I have always appreciated his kindness and his expertise. As a former physician assistant I also appreciate what a wonderful clinician he is.
