Great place for seniors to meet peers. They offer classes, trips, and a nutritional lunch.
I only been to a couple of seminars,i would like to attend some excercise classes to get out of the house & for my health,i guess i just have to stop procrastinating.
I have been a member of FSS for many years and I have been volunteering for a few years at Peachtree City. I think this facility is wonderful for the Senior Citizens here in PTC. I do wish that the facilities were a little more attractive. Fayetteville is beautiful and the facility is very cozy and welcoming. FSS has become a big part of my health and social life! The exercise and stretch classes taught by Miriam Jones-Williams has improved by strength, flexibility and overall health. I suffer from chronic back issues and have been told by my Orthopedic Surgeon I would be in much worse shape without the exercise regime I am following. I am an import from the North and from a very small family so the social engagements and meeting wonderful FSS Sisters & Brothers has added joy and many activities to my life. The Fayette Senior Services is a wonderful place for seniors to hang out. Many great activities. I have been a volunteer for almost five years and have really enjoyed it.
Discrimination is not ok. I hope this place does better informing their drivers and management of how to treat others.
