Never before have I experienced the level of incompetence that prevails at Fayette Counseling Center. If I am able to get through to the center by phone-- usually this requires multiple calls that either go unanswered or get disconnected-- I am invariably put on hold for upwards of five minutes before being told to call back at another time.On multiple occasions I have had one staff member tell me something that directly contradicts what another staff member has told me. I come from California originally and we have a really good mental health system in place there. Cant say the same about Georgia. BUT, Fayette Counseling Center is by far the best that I haveencountered since I moved here. Everyone is wonderful and helpful. If you need help in finding any other services they will bend over backwards for you to help. They have been life savers forme on more than one occasion. Really wonderful people.
