Happy with home purchased 11 years ago overall . But, now have to replace a roof that you think would have lasted a little longer. Many people in neighborhood replacing roofs. Makes you wonder about quality.
Mungo Homes is a fantastic company and even better new home developer! They focus so much on the beautiful craftsmanship and pay attention to all of the little details! You would be making a mistake if you wanted a new build and didn't buy a Mungo Home!
Before considering purchasing a two level home from Mungo. They DO NOT insulate the upper front and side of garage properly. We were unaware of this because the house was completely built before we purchased it. If we had known we would have not purchased from Mungo. Bedrooms in these locations will approximately temp 10 degrees lower in the winter and 10 degrees higher in the summer. This only happens when you keep your bedroom doors closed. Had to replace entire roof after only 10 years. Insurance adjuster unanimously noted faulty workmanship. Many homes getting new roofs lately within an unacceptable time frame. Big hit to a seniors budget.
Purchased our home in February,2014 and a year ago had to replace our roof. It was noted that the quality of shingles used was not the best. Also about 5 other homeowners in same neighborhood have had to replace roofs. Buyers beware. As a Sr. Citizen this was a big hit on budget.
This company is a complete bunch of unprofessional builders, they do not tell the truth about anything and they do terrible work. I have been in their Cadence community for 2 months and since that time I am at my home continuously waiting b for someone to come repair something that is they have purposely left incomplete or performed bad workmanship to my home. Started looking at Homes in Evans Park, Liked them very much. Please look extra hard at Framing / Truss work. Not very good? Sales people do not like answering any questions and can't get straight answers on buying. They do not even offer to meet you at site. Signs are posted available and sold and find out they are or they aren't sold or available?
