I love to support Black-owned businesses. Favors Desserts is one of my all-time favorites. I usually order cupcakes or a slice of the three-layer cake. The carrot cake cupcake is AMAZING! There's chunks of walnuts and the cream cheese icing is so creamy. When it comes to three-layer sliced cakes, Italian cream is my go-to. The cupcakes make a great gift for a friend, party, or celebration.
We found this place on a whim, looking for nearby dessert spots & trusted the reviews. But our first impression wasn't great. We weren't greeted or even acknowledged when we entered, even though an employee was in the dining area the whole time. Someone came from the back shortly after, but even that encounter wasn't exactly welcoming. (It kinda felt like we were interrupting their work & needed to hurry up & order so they could get back to it.) Customer service was horrible. The cake was dry and too sweet. Won’t be going there again!!!! 🍅🍅🍅
