This builder was hired to build our home. He and/or his foreman are NEVER at the project site to supervise the subcontractors, multiple problem with the work, poor quality, he takes money in advance without doing the work, he bills for subcontractors and does not pay someone them and keeps it to himself, verbally abusive, he makes lots of misrepresentations all of which turn out to be false, he claims he lives in Alamo when in fact he lives in Idaho, he is hardly ever in California, poor quality of work, very slow, he uses c... read more
In my opinion, Jeff Fautt and his wife, Shelby, are the absolute crooks in the building industry. He does not know how to build high end homes. His experience is building tract homes similar to KB Homes. He took almost $5,000,000 from us, only completed less than 20% of the house in a year, even with the 20% completed, there were multiple problems, he or anyone from his company are never around to supervise, and like Jo K, we found out he lives in Idaho.
