Little Dick David is a class example of what a subhuman carpet bagger is. Not only does he use all black brass bands in his promotions he then calls the police on them to be assulted.
I'd rather listen to street music.
1. Stop calling the cops on undeserving people. 2. Sell the store to someone who gets it. 3. Go be bland somewhere else.
I definitely wouldnt recommend this place if you want to feel the spirit of what NOLA truly is. calling the police on the local musicians which is the culture of the city is not something I want to support.
If you don’t support your community and it’s people then the public doesn’t support you.
support the community and what makes it great.
The new owners should be ashamed! You can't claim to be an art and book store celebrating New Orleans culture when you call the cops and have a well-known brass band member arrested
A noise complaint on Frenchman? You’re not from here are you?
Shame on you. This is New Orleans! You chose to purchase a bookstore here and then decided you had the right to try to change our beautiful, rich culture to suit YOUR needs??? GET OUT.
