We had Hal and company build a full tile shower and tile surround on an existing garden tub back in 2023. After a year and a half the shower started to leak into the ceiling of our garage. We finally scratched up enough cash to rebuild the shower again and demoed the previous shower Hal installed. The waterproofing was not installed correctly, or at all, on the knee wall, so naturally it leaked and caused a fair amount of damage to the subfloor. All fixed now, but wouldn't recommend.
