Passing through the area with my wife who has never been to a FatBurger, we decided to stop in. We showed up around noon, only to find the doors locked and the place empty. A note was posted on the door from the buildings owner informing FatBurger they have been evicted for failing to pay rent and to see the building manager to gain access to remove items from within. Also on the door was an eviction notice posted/served by the local sheriffs office.
There were a few reasons for the 2 star rating. 1) There was nowhere near enough seating for the amount of business during dinner time. My family of 5 squeezed into a small booth meant for two (good thing my girls are petite). 2) The building was rather loud and echoed considerably. While although this is not uncommon for restaurants, it didn't help that the cook was banging metal against the metal grill excessively hard. 3) Overall felt that the quality of the burger that we received nowhere justified the price.
