Always great service
I stopped using Fastenal a while back because they never have anything useful in stock. Unless you need a bag of 100 screws, they typically don’t break down packages. I know it’s not a hardware store, but I could definitely serve walk in traffic, like me, much better until I need to buy a large amount of something. Now it’s even worse because they’ve closed off the aisles of hardware you used to be able to walk through and decide what you need. No customer service whatsoever... the guy behind the counter wouldn't even look for what I needed
Received several order pick-up notifications for an online order. Went to go pick up a few days later. The CRS reviewed my printout for 2 minutes without saying a word before asking who it's for. Me...as it clearly is printed on the sheet. Awkward. In any case, despite the print-out and showing a different email stating all of my items are available for pick-up, he said he only has one item for me and can't give me the rest even though they have it in-stock because he can't take it out of the store inventory.
