My son plays for a competing travel basketball team. During the finals of the league chanpionship (55Swish) against a Chelsea Piers team, Fastbreak found themselves down by 8 points with a minute to go. Instead of showing some decorum or sportsmanship, the fastbreak team QUIT with 1 minute to go and walked off the court. What a disgrace. We put of kids onto these teams to learn sportsmanship and to play as a team. What a lesson for the kids. The coach and the fastbreak organization is a disgrace to sports in NYC. FastBreak sports has been a wonderful experience for my 3 year old daughter. Not only has she learned so much about all different sports (soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, football, etc), the coaches that work with her age group are absolutely amazing. Their energy and enthusiasm with the kids is outstanding. They classes (and camp) are instructed using imagination and play and the children really have fun as they learn the fundamentals of sports. I highly recommend this place!
