Unfortunately the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. I was burnt multiple times by a hand held UV light during biab application, to the point of me screaming in extreme pain and it took the manager to come over and tell her to stop and use a different method. Not only was it painful but they look really bad. I’ve been a regular customer at Fashion Nails West Lakes for the past few months and have usually received good service. I have previously had my nails done by the manager, who did an amazing job, which is why I continued returning. Unfortunately, today’s experience was extremely disappointing. The staff member who did my nails was rushed, unprofessional, and careless. I was cut and hurt multiple times, and my requests were repeatedly ignored. Kim did a fantastic job on my nails! I’m super happy with the service from start to finish. She was really attentive and took her time helping me pick colours and chrome styles based on my inspo pic, without rushing me at all. I’ll be honest, I was a bit skeptical going in because I’ve had my nails done at a few different places before and they never really do proper cuticle care - but she actually listened, and my nails and cuticles look so good and really neat.
