I never had to pay for a service in advance. It was $55 for a pedicure with a regular nail polish that is robbery
Gel nails should never chip. I was in town for just the day and the lady said I had to pay before my service. I told her I was uncomfortable with that so she tried to refuse my service so I paid because I needed my nails done for my interview. Not worth $60. I’m pissed actually. Racist. Unfriendly environment. I learned later that this salon makes people pay ahead of time based on the color of your skin.
