Dr Farrokhi gave me a precise diagnosis using my MRI and described exactly how they could use an ALIF to move the L5 vertebra up from my sacrum to stop the nerve pinching that was causing the numbness in my right leg. His team did this minimally invasive operation and it worked perfectly. I can now walk without pain or numbness.
The pre surgery time spent with the Dr. was amazing, his bedside manners were excellent, he treated me like a brother.
I share this short story to express my deep appreciation for the expert surgery on my lower spine by Dr. Farrokh Farrokhi at Virginia Mason in Seattle, WA. Could not walk 100 feet without surgery, a day after minimally invasive back surgery was able to walk 2 miles without pain. Very competent and capable surgeon.
