My electric dryer wasn’t drying my clothes all the way, so I had this place come out to look at it. I know on the phone they said $75 just to have them come out, fine. Not even 2 seconds in the room he said I bet this is the problem.. I had a thicker fuzzy sock covering the end of the vent to catch lint, not knowing that was the issue. My older Maytag washer went out on a Monday. Called Farraghers’ on Tuesday and they sent a service tech on Thursday. As I had relayed my suspicion of the problem part to the scheduler, a new part was brought along. The service tech quickly diagnosed the issue, replaced the part, and even gave the rest of the machine a quick check, advising me of signs that a major machine part (no longer available for replacement due to the machine’s age) was beginning to deteriorate. We came home from a vacation out of state to find our 3 year old Whirlpool fridge buzzing loudly and the contents at room temperature. I called Farraghers’ at 4:55 on a Friday night and reached Mr. Farragher himself. He listened to the buzzing, diagnosed the problem over the phone, and suggested I try emptying the fridge and turning it off for 24 hours to defrost any ice buildup. It worked! Temps are back to normal and I’m so grateful… I’ll certainly call Farraghers’ if I ever have a fridge problem again.
