Born and raised in Lorain, my mother purchased this candy for our family consistently - it's devine! After moving, I ordered from Faroh's yearly for my own children. I've never found any chocolates that could compare to their French chocolates! Also love their chocolate covered dark cherries and ESPECIALLY the Swiss mallow with nuts! Prices have gotten too high for me, sadly! The shipping is astronomical.
The candy is great but the store hours are not, have been there for two days after being advised they will be open and it is in fact closed. When are they there for sure and how do you get ahold of them? Please reply Thanks
I was my niece about 5 minutes ago wishing that I were back in Cleveland now so that I could get a large Swiss chocolate egg. I think the ones I used to get were well over two pounds. I'd put one in the freezer and chip off pieces. SOOOOO good. That was probably around 60 years ago, when we'd go to the Pearl Road store.
I remember going to the Pearl Road store as a child. Pure heaven. Their Swiss Chocolate carton eggs are the best! The Easter Bunny always put them in our basket. After moving away from home my father continued to send us each a couple cartons at Easter. Since his passing away, I am continuing his tradition and sending them to his grandchildren. Faroh's is the best!
