Farnham Electric sent me a $195 bill for ten minutes of work. I was given no estimate of time or cost up front. The technician diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes and fixed it in ten. He had to move a single wire on the outlet from "load" to "line." The technician also refused to tell me what the cost would be for the work. When I called upon receiving the bill, I was told that "the computer" had somehow mysteriously overcharged me for 1.5 hours of labor instead of 1 hour. Oops.
