Mixed Experience I've been a member of the membership club at this vet hospital for some time, and my experience has been quite mixed depending on which veterinarian I see. The Good: Dr. Kraneburg has been absolutely exceptional - empathetic, compassionate, and consistently goes above and beyond for pets and their owners. I've been taking my dogs to Farmingville Animal Hospital for over 10 years. I used to love his place, but it has changed dramatically since VCA acquired it. It is now an in-you-face for-profit business that cares more about cash than about our pets. I still love my veterinarian (Dr. Robbins has been the only reason why I stayed for the last 3-4 years), but a recent conversation on the phone with the hospital manager convinced me that this is no longer a good practice.
