Went here in 2021 at the recommendation of a specialist. My 1st visit wasn't great. A woman with a heavy accent worked with me, sort of. 2 different times I was just left in the room laying on a bed doing nothing. I left feeling like I just did nothing for 50 minutes. Went back 2 days later and worked with a male therapist and WOW what a difference. We did a lot more and I felt like progress was made. Worked with the lady again and I was very annoyed. This place is fantastic! The therapists are very attentive and talented. They provide a much deeper level of therapy than any place I've been before. Somatics is the way to go!
I went to Farmington Valley Physical Therapy and left in worse shape than when I originally came in. I would be told to do exercises without much proper instruction and correction and then be left in a room completely alone for 10-20 minutes at a time. I would be there for an hour and maybe work with the therapist for about 15-20 minutes while he moves back and forth from patient to patient. The approach at Farmington Valley Physical Therapy is unmatched. I wish we had learned about their services years ago. I am forever in debt to their excellent staff for the relief they have been able to provide to our family when no other physical therapist made a difference.
