Went for pain in toes and bottom of foot and I was told I needed surgery and needed to purchase orthotics for $550. I asked if there were any other alternative treatment and was told not really. I asked if I was getting a shot and was told that wouldn't help. Went for a second opinion and received a totally different diagnosis. YES I was able to get a cortisone shot with pain reliever, was given exercises to do and was told orthotics were not necessary at this time. To end it all, surgery was not necessary at all.
