Stop in on a Sunday at around 11:30am, never been there, apparently my only option was the buffet, waitress was somewhat rude when I asked for hot tea, which they didn’t have so I got a coffee, sat for ten minutes waiting to get a menu and order, she never came back to table to check on me, nor inform me about the buffet. Got up and paid for my coffee, expressed my disappointment which they didn’t seem real concerned. Just not a very pleasant experience for me.
Lemon pepper grilled chicken tenders are good. The sweet potato casserole and the black-eyed peas were my favorite. Service was excellent. Good hush puppies too.
I travel through town for work every few weeks, and I’m glad I decided to give Farmhouse Restaurant a try. The last time I was in the area, I stopped at another restaurant and paid around $45 for a ribeye that I instantly regretted ordering. This time, I decided to try Farmhouse, and their ribeye was about half the price and honestly tasted ten times better.
