I was extremely disappointed with this Farmers Mutual Insurance office. During regular business hours, the doors were locked and the office was closed to the public due to an unusually long lunch break. For an insurance office that serves the public, being unavailable for extended periods in the middle of the workday is unacceptable. People take time off work and plan their day around business hours, only to be turned away by locked doors. my in-laws were clients for this company since 1978. In the last 15 years, my 89 yr old widowed mother in law had every single claim denied by this insurance company. I called them to ask for the records of claims, and was immediately met with a defensive "why". I told them for personal reasons, they agreed to grant my request. As I conversed further with the head manager Josh, he began to speak rudely, and actually started acting like a child. Recent change in leadership in the Comal County office. I had questions and spoke with the new president / general manger. I was told that I “wasn’t a fit” and that I “should look for another insurance company.” Weirdest conversation ever 😀. I looked for another insurance company, found another another insurance company and am happy that I did.
