I was given a quote for home owners insurance on a monthly payment plan and paid it. Two months later I was told that they had made a mistake and now I had to pay them double what I was quoted. When I disputed this with them they stopped all communications with me and sent me to a collections agency. I eventually had to pay half of what I was being charged, and immediately switched agents. If you are considering Farmers as your insurance company, go ahead, but DO NOT use Rick McKelvey! He is rude, and a thief!
