Round II - Just found out from Joe that farmers has a new home owners policy and I was able to reduce my cost in half over my previous policy by raising my deductible to 1000 instead of 250, and slightly lowering a few my coverages. Just checked with Geico to compare my new coverage and found that geico charges 789 bucks a year, compared to 714 at farmers. Thanks Joe. Sorry Geico, I took your quote to Joe and he was able to beat your price (even with a few additions). It pays to be able to call someone you know and trust, rather than calling an 800 number and get stuck in a queue for the next available person who went through 2 weeks of training. I've been using Joe for about 10 years, and he's made sure my policy is always as good or better than progressive and geico for less money. Thanks Joe!
