We have been here several times and the food is pretty good. The wait staff is very nice and always check on your needs. The fried chicken is really good and so are the sweet potatoes. The bread pudding is amazing. We had some type of chicken casserole that used corn tortillas, that was one of the best things we've had there but only saw that offered once. First time to the restaurant and as locals, were a bit shocked and disappointed in the "ambiance" of the restaurant. It was apparently christian concert night as they had a man there singing gospel music, a table full of various religious products, the usually "tammy faye baker and equally tacky looking male partner" duo working it but the real kicker, i think, was when there was a break in the music for the containers to be passed around for TITHE, lol!!! WTF was all I could think at that moment, immediately lost my appetit... read more
we stopped about 8pm after a full day of traveling. The hostess was friendly, the waitress was outstanding and offered options to the cafeteria menu. food was great and was fresh. We will return.
we thought we would try your restaurant because its new- the salad bar did not have a lot of choices- the number one thing that got our disapproval was the buffet the fish was located right next to the chicken and i observed at least three people using the same tongs for both foods- this may seem like a small thing to you but to someone like me who has a hugh fish allergy it could have been deadly if i even got a small taste of fish on my chicken- fortunatly i saw them using the same tongs and passed on the chicken if someon... read more
Have been there twice now, the food is wonderful. The quality and variety is fantastic and the staff is friendly. For the same price as a Shoney's buffet the food is miles beyond. A big problem though, this is a large restaurant with a tiny parking lot. There is no way they can fill the inside unless people park at nearby establishments and walk across the street. I've heard it every time someone talks about this place, "Oh, we tried to go there but the parking lot was jammed." Well dah, they simply don't have enough parking... read more
