A beautiful, small farm with well-maintained, accessible rows and none of the kitschy commercialism that plagues so many PYO these days. The price is very reasonable too. I found the owner to be warm and friendly, which hasn't been my experience at farms around the DMV. I arrived around 9 a.m., picked 8 pounds, and left around 11:00. I think the early hours (7:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.) keep the crowds down, which meant for a peaceful, almost meditative, picking experience. Amazing birds squawking in the background too!
Best blueberry picking ever!!
I came here a couple of weekends ago with my sons and the blueberries were very fresh and tasty. My boys had a great time and we immediately went home and made a delicious blueberry pie!! However, I was not impressed with the customer service. The owner seemed impolite and dismissive, as though he was too busy or preoccupied with something else. Maybe they need to hire some more people over there.
