Previous owners had windows and doors installed and lifetime warranty transferred to me when home purchased. Windows have a vinyl wood grain finish on inside that is peeling off. Called farm and home and were told we have to deal direct with window manufacturer. We started the process which took forever. Started off alright in September to get a quote. Then i found myself calling up weekly to get an update on my quote. Was like pulling teeth to get any info. Never went thru so much trouble just to give someone my money. Ultimately after 3 months of no real update we went with a different company.
Never followed up with a quote after coming out to measure/see project.
I am extremely pleased with the new doors and windows Farm and Home installed on my 100+ year old house. They were recommended to me by someone on Nextdoor for window and door replacement. I called, the owner came by at the time he said he would and took measurements of the windows and doors. His crew came out a couple of months later and got everything installed in 3 days. Not an easy task in an old house where there are NO 90 degree angles. They did an outstanding job, and I highly recommend them.
