I had steel siding done on my house about 20 years ago and the supplier also installed a brand new door about 5 years ago. When I bought these materials they said these items had a lifetime warranty. I was pleasantly surprised to find out this is the case. This company is so valuable to any consumer that I always want them to continue to succeed on the level they have.
Imagine all fascia and corner pieces being installed from top down, allowing water to run behind it. Imagine trim pieces around windows being multiple pieces allowing water in. Imagine b and b siding not being attached and constantly sliding down and horizontal shake pieces not gapped correctly for time of year resulting in large gaps as well as no screws holding the lap siding on top of pieces not hooked together properly resulting in flopping pieces. The worst customer service ever. Took 16 weeks to get our windows from order date. Could not get anyone to return our call. Called main office and still got no where. The windows are finally installed now but won’t ever use this company again due to the lack of respect for customers and misleading information on timeframe.
Previous owners had windows and doors installed and lifetime warranty transferred to me when home purchased. Windows have a vinyl wood grain finish on inside that is peeling off. Called farm and home and were told we have to deal direct with window manufacturer. We started the process which took forever. Started off alright in September to get a quote. Then i found myself calling up weekly to get an update on my quote. Was like pulling teeth to get any info. Never went thru so much trouble just to give someone my money. Ultimately after 3 months of no real update we went with a different company.
