Had a great overall experience from start to finish. The actual procedure was so well executed meaning their group is really organized and diligent. The nurses were friendly and the anesthesiologist was exceptionally kind. He was worried about my privacy because my brother in law happened to (randomly) also be there for an appt and wanted to make sure I felt ok to speak freely about my medical history. Arrogant and did not listen. Distorted the history I provided in medical notes that I read after the visit. Charged over $800 for an initial interview/consultation.
No ... I wouldn't recommend. I had a follow up with Dr. Farid this morning. I arrived 9 minutes after appointment ... receptionist called back office. He informed that they can not take me in for over 45 minutes because the Dr has three zoom meetings lined up. Who does this??? In Doctors reply ... she said she wasnt notified by receptionist until 15 minutes after appt time... which was not true.
I went to Dr. Farid for my first colonoscopy. She was great. I actually had a great time. 5 years later, I looked to see her again and she had moved from Burbank to Santa Monica and is with UCLA. So, I schlepped to Santa Monica (from Studio City) to see her and then again for my 2nd colonoscopy. While in the room, the nurse was prepping paperwork and Dr. Farid looked up and said my full name, date of birth and Patient ID number - from memory! Shame on Providence for losing this great doctor.
I had been suffering from gallbladder pain for going on 6 years. I had seen multiple GI's and they mostly made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. Within a week of seeing Dr. Farid I had the operation to remove my gallbladder done. She listened and cared and went the extra mile for me. I will be forever in her debt.
