In June of 2024, our parents were involved in a motor vehicle accident due to a distracted driver who ran a red light and struck their car. This unfortunate incident led to both of our parents being taken to the hospital with significant injuries. Our mother spent a week in the hospital and then went through rehab to recover from her injuries. Unfortunately, our father had a longer recovery period.
