ECT "treatment" left lasting confusion. Expect no true counseling or human warmth. Technically, Tabatabai is probably somewhat competent, but the science of psychiatry is truly primitive, treatment tools completely inadequate. My elderly mother was harmed/got worse by both over-medication and by ECT -- she died of with a confused sort of dementia not long after ECT. Nurses were harsh at clinic and in-hospital as well. Psychiatry is not effective, validity does not exist for diagnosis or treatments.
