I transferred my dental services to Dr Fard years ago after having negative experiences that felt rough and painful with other dentists. I explained my concerns and Dr Fard heard me and explained how his practices aligned with my needs. He is gentle and understands how some dental procedures can feel startling or cause pain and need additional patient feedback. Megan used this thing she clipped in my mouth to suck up the water but it did not work at all and I was drenched. I felt like I was drowning…. my clothes got all wet… we went through several towels. Finally she switched to the old standby straw type sucker and it was much better. Also she wanted me to use these GUM soft picks not realizing that as a one- handed person, I cannot manipulate them and so no other option was suggested. She was very nice but not great.
Updated review: You won't find a better dentist anywhere!! I've been commuting from the east coast for more than a decade now to see Dr Fard. Recently, I needed my first crown. I know many people who have found this traumatic with other dentists, but here it was quite fun! Literally zero discomfort, and Dr Fard is so funny and lovely to talk to, it was genuinely enjoyable. Dr. Fard and staff are A-plus and new hygienist Gina is an awesome addition to the team. I had heard from so many people that this was THE place to go to and I'm so happy to have made the move here for my dental care.
