I am a cancer survivor and I am trying to get help with the aftermath of radiation. I went to see this doctor once and he made me feel unwelcome. He basically told me that he was not interested in helping me and he would not refer me to any specialist that knows anything about treating patients with a history of cancer.

Dismissive of the pain he inflicted while “cleaning” my problem ear. Told me not to move after jamming the apparatus into my infected eardrum which caused me to move away from him. He essentially blamed me for his mean demeanor. Then rolled his eyes at me when I described my recurring sinus infections and request to check my sinuses. He left the room, grabbed a sinus scope, sprayed my sinuses and JABBED it forcefully in - the pain was excruciating. Again he said not to move. A misdiagnosis sent my son to a plastic surgeon with an open wound. This office does not answer the phone on the weekend. It’s hard to get any back after an appointment. After reaching out with an urgent issue, still have not even been contacted …three days later. A lot can go badly with an open wound over several days. Very, very disappointing.

My wife had an inner ear test canceled when she arrived for her appointment after a month of waiting and no advance notice. When we tried to reschedule that test, it was going to be another 6 weeks of waiting. I complained bitterly and was told that the Office Manager, named Christian, was not available but would call me back. Worst experience ever! He is not caring, he wrote a prescription for a med that is not sold anymore, he failed to warn me about the serious side affects of Levaquin, he did not return my call into him, his office phone service answered with another DR's, name and when I did speak with his office, all I got was the DR is not reachable. Two days later, I went to a great ENT at Head and Neck Associates and the DR said my ear was so bad, he was ready to admit me to the hospital. Had great results with Dr. Shabdiz removing a hearing aid cap that got stuck in my ear. It only took seconds where Urgent Care had no success trying to get it out. He also took a look at my nostril, ordered a ct scan, and after reviewing it with me referred me to a UCI expert on nasal surgery to remove an olfactory tumor.

Dr.Shabdiz and his whole staff has been more than accommodating to us. We would highly reccomend him. Thank you all for getting us through one of the scariest times of our lives.
